What is a Psychic?

This week I want to talk about what a psychic does. Are we just like everyone else. What goes on in a psychic's mind when he's working? Is it that different from other aspects of life?

Psychics are just like everyone else. They get married (at least some of us do) travel,  have regular jobs. The difference is an extra piece of information here and there.

When I'm reading I tune in to a different station. I center on the person I'm reading for. I also tune in to all the people and situations around them. If you of someone close to you has an ache or pain I will feel it. How do I feel it? I feel in the same part of my body as the person experiencing the pain would feel it. . If it is the person in front of me I see it. When I'm doing a phone reading I feel it.

Much of the information I get I hear. I am not sure of the exact source. Most likely it is someone who has passed on. Usually it is a deceased relative of my client. Sometimes it is from one of my own guides. One who has been on the other side so long he sometimes speaks in Latin. Each one has their own special way of greeting me. By the greeting and the language I know which one I am speaking with. One or two I can tell by the tone of voice.

One I work with has a twisted right arm. One (a friend from this life who died in his twenties had a wooden leg. One died in an accident and broke his jaw. Whenever he comes through I feel my jaw twist to the right. It makes it hard to speak at times. When my friend with the missing leg comes through I will get up and walk around like he did for a minute or two.

During the course of a reading I will be asked about a person not present. I center on the person asked about and sometimes I will mimic their walk or actions or speech pattern. I do that just to be sure I am on target. It is like putting on a surgical glove. I almost become the other person. I can only do that if the client is quiet and a good listener and doesn't interrupt me too often.

Just as no two people are the same, no two readings are the same. Often a reading will center on one topic. When that happens it generally has to do with romance. I have had readings that talked about everyone but the client in front of me.

Generally speaking your reading reflects your personality. If you are a very focused person you reading will be focused. If you have a dozen things on your mind we will have to try to cover a dozen things. If you are very concerned with your children they will form a large part of what we cover.

Once in a while a client can't relate to what I am saying at all. It just doesn't make sense to them. That means most or all of the reading is yet to happen.

Being totally out of touch with reality is often a culprit in that instance. People coming for a reading are often in deep denial. They will say no that just can't be, he/she is not like that. Sometime I will end a session like that early. I am doing no service for that person at this time in their life.
